well firstly happy birthday to u. i sure hope u have a good one. i too have chest infection, but i still went out at the weekend, and thankfully was too drunk to notice i was ill. so if u still ill and u drink alot chances are u wont notice either. i been told to take ibuprofen as it it relaxes the chest muscles and drink plenty of water. i didnt think it would work but i been alot better today. also recomended is hot water bottle at nite if u have one, but i been usin the vicks.

go to the doctor he/she will tell u if it is a chest infection if it is they willl probably prescribe steroids and antibiotics
If it is an infection they will give you antibiotics which means you won't be able to drink. Get them anyway and don't start taking them till Sunday (assuming you will be getting bladdered on Saturday...)
Stay in bed, drink lots of fluids(non alcholic) paracetemol Hope its all cleared up for satarday. Many happy returns on the 10th.XXXXXXXX
The best bet would see your regular physician he or she can perscribe something for you and get rid of the infection and make your 18th birthday something to remember
Off to the doctors with you, but you`ve left it a bit late to be better for your birthday. Be like the Quenn and have an official birthday when you feel better.
